SORA – Thousands of people filled Sora’s historic centre on the evening of Saturday 27 June 2026 for Magicabula Magic Night, the Children’s White Night which this year marked its tenth anniversary. The event, promoted by the Municipality of Sora and the Province of Frosinone, attracted families, children and visitors to several areas of the town.
Attendance was strong from the late afternoon onwards. Crowds gathered in Piazza Indipendenza, Corso Volsci, Piazza Santa Restituta, Piazza Palestro and along the Lungoliri, with busy bars and restaurants and a steady flow of people through the streets of the centre. The evening took place in a calm and welcoming atmosphere, with particularly large numbers around the main event areas.

Before Cristina D’Avena’s concert, several contestants from the television format The Voice Kids performed in Piazza Indipendenza. Among them were Annagiulia Fusco and Francesco Halilaj, two young singers from Sora and pupils of Professor Maria Teresa Reale, who took part in the 2026 edition of the Rai 1 programme hosted by Antonella Clerici.
Their performance opened the musical part of the evening in front of an already large audience. It was a moment closely followed by those present, also because of the connection between the two young artists and the town.
Cristina D’Avena and the songs that bring generations together
Cristina D’Avena’s concert was one of the most anticipated moments of Magicabula Magic Night 2026. The singer, known for many of Italy’s best-loved cartoon theme songs, was welcomed by an audience made up of children, parents and adults who grew up with her music.
During the performance, many people sang along to songs especially linked to the Eighties and Nineties. The cartoon themes created a simple and familiar sense of participation, with families and spectators joining in during one of the most warmly received moments of the evening.
Shows and entertainment throughout the town centre
The Children’s White Night was not limited to the main stage. The programme included several events across the town centre, with shows, entertainment and activities designed for younger children.
During the evening there were the Disney Parade, the dancing fountains, street artists, performances, creative workshops, inflatable games, travelling music from the Balkan Street Band, a food area and children’s theatre. It was a wide-ranging programme which allowed families to experience different parts of the town throughout the event.
The historic centre animated by families and visitors
The tenth edition of Magicabula Magic Night brought a large number of families, children and visitors back into Sora’s historic centre. The squares, Corso Volsci and the Lungoliri were busy throughout the evening, with visible participation also in local businesses and venues.
The event confirmed its role as an appointment dedicated to children and family entertainment. Its tenth anniversary was marked by a crowded town centre, widespread participation and a programme built around music, shows and activities for younger audiences.
